On 30–31 May 2024 (a Thursday and Friday), the Center for the Study of New Testament Manuscripts will host a gathering of scholars in Plano, Texas (a suburb of Dallas). This will be the second meeting of The CSNTM Text & Manuscript Conference.
The theme for this 2024 meeting is “Intersection” and will feature plenary presentations throughout each day with optional breakout sessions. The “Intersection” theme aims to explore how the many disciplines of the study of ancient Christian documents (paleography, art history, exegesis, paratext, linguistics, conservation, etc.) collaborate to help us better understand their content.
Our plenary presenters include:
Paul Foster
Professor of New Testament and Early Christianity
The School of Divinity, The University of Edinburgh
Amy Anderson
Professor of Ancient Greek and New Testament
North Central University
Tommy Wasserman
Professor of Biblical Studies
Ansgar University College
Jeremiah Coogan
Assistant Professor of New Testament
Jesuit School of Theology (Berkeley, CA)
We will hold the conference at the Marriott at Legacy Town Center, a hospitable, urban location just north of Dallas, away from the traffic and noise yet vibrant with excellent restaurants and entertainment.
